What type of lock does the Puddle Jumper have?

The Puddle Jumper features a convenient double buckle at the back, specially designed to keep it securely fastened. This way, your child cannot easily take it off themselves, allowing you to relax and enjoy their water adventures with peace of mind.

Is a Puddle Jumper a life jacket?

A Puddle Jumper is a swimming aid and personal protective equipment (PPE) that helps your child stay afloat safely in the water. It is not a life jacket and therefore does not serve the same purpose as one. We always recommend keeping supervision so you can enjoy the water together safely.

What is the difference between a Puddle Jumper and Arm Bands?

Puddle Jumpers consist of a floating (foam) vest with arm and shoulder straps. This provides your child with stability and more freedom of movement. Arm Bands only go around the arms and need to be inflated. While armbands are usually lower in price, a Puddle Jumper generally lasts longer.

What material are the Arm Bands made of?

Our Arm Bands are made of reinforced PVC material and feature a non-return valve. This means that air cannot easily escape from the Arm Bands, providing extra safety and even more fun in the water for your child!

How do I inflate the Arm Bands properly?

The best way to inflate the Arm Bands is by blowing air into them through the inflation valve. Make sure to close the valve properly by pushing it inward so that it sits flush and does not stick out.

What kind of closure does the swim vest have?

How do I clean the swim vest?

To clean the swim vest, simply rinse it by hand with water. Avoid using a washing machine, as this helps the vest maintain its shape and safety features. This way, it stays fresh and ready for new water adventures!

Which size swim vest should I choose for my child?

The right size depends on your child’s age and weight. At Swim Essentials, the swim vest is available in three different sizes:

1–2 years: suitable for children between 11–15 kg
2–3 years: suitable for children between 15–18 kg
3–6 years: suitable for children between 18–30 kg

What age is the baby float suitable for?

Our baby floats are specially designed for the little ones: perfectly suitable for babies aged 0 to 1 year. There is also a version available for children aged 1 to 2 years.

Up to how many kilograms can my child use a baby float?

Our Baby Floats 0–1 year are designed for optimal safety and comfort, suitable for babies up to 11 kilograms. We also offer a Baby Float for 1–2 years, suitable for children weighing between 11 and 15 kilograms.

Do I need to inflate the baby float?

Yes, the baby float needs to be inflated. This can easily be done by blowing air into it through the inflation valve using your mouth or an electric pump. It takes approximately one minute to inflate.

Is the seat of the baby float safe?

Yes, the seat of the baby float is safe! For extra security, we’ve integrated four air chambers, whereas many other brands only use two. These additional air chambers provide extra stability and safety in the water.
