FAQ Frame Pools
Frame Pool
The time it takes to fill the pool depends on its size and how many garden hoses you use. With one garden hose, the smallest pool takes approximately 4 hours to fill, while our largest pool takes around 8 hours.
No, it’s not possible to leave the pool outside during snow or freezing temperatures. The low temperatures can cause the material to become brittle, leading to cracks or other damage.
To prevent sand and dirt from entering the pool, we recommend using a cover and a filter pump. The cover keeps debris out of the water, while the filter pump continuously filters the water to keep it clean. Both the cover and filter pump are available at Swim Essentials.
No, a pool ladder is not included by default with our frame pools under 400 cm. You can expand your pool purchase with our accessories, which include a ladder. The ladder is also available separately.
A Frame Pool 400x200x100 does include a ladder and a filter pump.
Our pools are very easy to set up! The exact setup time depends on the size of the pool, but on average, it takes around 30 minutes with two people to have it ready for use.
Our pools come with a 1-year warranty on the frame and a 3-month warranty on the liner (the pool fabric).
No worries! We’re happy to help you through our Splash Replacement service. You can easily submit a request there for a replacement product or another suitable solution.
To properly protect your pool, we recommend using a pool cover. It helps keep the water clean and prevents debris from entering. For even better maintenance, use a ground cover and a filter pump to keep your pool water fresh and clear.
Inside the pool, you’ll find a maximum fill line. This indicates the ideal water level so you’ll know exactly how much water to add.
The poles extend 20 centimetres beyond the stated size. For example, a pool measuring 260 x 160 cm has an actual ground area of 280 x 180 cm. So, always add 20 cm to the stated dimensions when measuring the surface area.
Pool & Ground Cover
To ensure your pool cover stays securely in place, you can use clips for extra stability.
No, it’s not a problem if the pool cover sags into the water. This is completely normal and won’t cause any damage.
No, a pool cover is not automatically included with a pool purchase. However, it’s possible to buy a pool together with accessories, or you can order the cover separately.
Yes, we recommend using a groundsheet for the best protection of your pool.
Yes, our groundsheet is completely waterproof!
No, it’s not possible for grass to grow through the groundsheet.
Pool Stairs
There should not be any rust spots on the pool ladder. If this does occur, please contact our Customer Service and send photos of the rust spots to customerservice@swimessentials.com so we can assist you further.
To store the pool ladder properly, make sure to dry it completely first and then keep it in a dry place. Avoid damp or humid areas at all times, as this can cause mould to form.
Filterpumps & Filters
No, a filter cannot be cleaned or reused. For the best performance, we recommend replacing the filter every two weeks.
If your filter pump is no longer working correctly, try rinsing the hoses thoroughly and reconnecting them. If this doesn’t solve the issue, please contact us at customerservice@swimessentials.com, we’ll be happy to help you further!
We recommend using a chlorine dispenser and keeping it in the water at all times with chlorine tablets inside. This helps prevent the growth of bacteria and algae, keeping your pool water clean and safe.
For frequent or intensive use, it’s best to replace the filter every two weeks to ensure optimal water quality and pump performance.
